INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES

About Counseling with Me

After more than a decade of working with individuals and families, I find most people walking through my door simply want to be happier and have more love in their lives.

FOR CLIENTS NEW TO THERAPY

Know that together we will explore the changes you are looking for in your life. Therapy is a collaborative effort and you are driving the process. While we cannot change what has happened in our past, we can intentionally take steps toward creating a more meaningful and satisfying present. We can transform pain into wisdom. My role is to support you in traveling your unique path through that transformation.

As I get to know you, we will establish therapeutic approaches that work best for you. My areas of expertise include attachment theory and depth psychology. My own on-going professional training enables me to offer you proven therapies grounded in the fields of neuroscience, trauma and human development.

It’s important you find a therapist who is an excellent fit for you. Contact me and we will talk about what you are looking for. You will have a chance to ask questions and get a sense of how I approach counseling and your personal growth.

FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND CLIENTS LOOKING FOR A BIT MORE INFORMATION

I work with those facing mild difficulties to those challenged with deeply held relational patterns or significant trauma. I am skilled in psychodynamic, systems, attachment-based and somatic counseling approaches. I enjoy working with clients on anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, attachment styles, parenting, identity issues and relationship issues of all kinds.

FOR SOCIAL CHANGE LEADERS

My professional journey as a psychotherapist began while working for social change and equity related to the energy industry. I am especially interested in supporting individuals working in social justice movements on their personal and professional growth. This work ranges from addressing personal wellness and professional burnout, to more deeply exploring workplace dynamics and conflicts.
